Fall Commencement Ceremonies

CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!  WE ARE PROUD OF YOU AND ALL YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED AT UIC!

Summer and fall 2023 graduates from the Colleges of Applied Health Sciences; Architecture, Design and the Arts, Business Administration; Education; Engineering; Liberal Arts and Sciences; Nursing; Urban Planning and Public Affairs; School of Public Health; and School of Law are invited to attend the 2023 UIC Fall Commencement ceremonies.

Friday, December 8

7:00 pm - College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

(Doors open at 6pm.)

Saturday, December 9

9:00am - College of Business Administration, College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, and School of Law

(Doors open at 8:00am.)

2:00pm - College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts, College of Education, and College of Engineering

(Doors open at 1:00pm.)

7:00pm - College of Applied Health Sciences, College of Nursing, and School of Public Health

(Doors open at 6:00pm.)

Ceremonies will be held at the Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 South Racine.

Each ceremony is expected to last approximately 2 hours.  Graduates are expected to stay for the duration of the ceremony.

Registration is required.  The registration deadline has passed.  For assistance, please email  commencement@uic.edu.

Guests do not need to register and do not require tickets.

PREFERRED FIRST NAMES:  If you have a preferred first name on file with the university that is different from your legal first name and you would like that to be used at the commencement ceremonies, please email commencement@uic.edu and we will be happy to accommodate your request.  The deadline to request the name change is November 12.

CAPS AND GOWNS:  Caps and gowns are currently on sale at the UIC Bookstore, on the first floor of Student Center East, 750 S. Halsted.  Order can also be placed online for shipping or in store pickup.
